When you use FitBae, we may collect the following categories of information:
a. Information you provide directly
- Profile information: name, age, height, weight.
- Health-related inputs: menstrual cycle details, preferences, and habits.
b. Information from Apple HealthKit (with your consent)
- Activity (steps, workouts, calories, movement, sleep, standing time).
- Other health data you allow the App to access.
c. Automatically collected data
- Basic app usage statistics (e.g., streak counts, challenge completions).
- No advertising identifiers, tracking, or third-party analytics are used.
2. How We Use Your Data
We process your personal and health data solely to:
- Personalize your challenges and recommendations.
- Track your progress (weight changes, daily activity, streaks).
- Provide insights related to your menstrual cycle and fitness.
We do not:
- Sell your personal data.
- Share your information with advertisers.
- Use your data for tracking across other apps or websites.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we rely on the following legal bases:

4. Data Retention
Your personal and health data is stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud backup, Apple securely manages your backup.
We retain your information only as long as you use the App. Deleting the App or its data from your device removes all stored information.

We take security seriously:
- We use Apple’s secure frameworks for all HealthKit interactions.
- No health data is stored on our servers; it stays on your device.
- If you choose iCloud backup, it is encrypted and managed by Apple.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the data you have provided.
- Correct or update inaccurate information.
- Delete your data at any time (via in-app settings or device settings).
- Revoke consent to HealthKit at any time via iOS Settings.
- Port your data (export manually, where possible).
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Children’s Privacy
FitBae is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. International Data Transfers
All data is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in Apple’s iCloud data centers. No data is transferred to third parties outside of Apple’s infrastructure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated in the App or on our official page where this policy is hosted.
